We have published a library of in-depth guides on cybersecurity, compliance, IT management, and AI governance for UK businesses. Each guide covers one topic properly: the regulatory context, the practical steps, and the decisions you need to make. All free, no registration required.
The Guides section is different from the Insights articles. Where Insights covers news, analysis, and shorter topics, Guides are longer and more structured. They are written for someone who needs to understand a subject well enough to act on it: implement a control, brief a board, prepare for an audit, or evaluate a vendor.
What is in the library
The first wave of guides covers the areas we work on most with UK clients:
- Cybersecurity and risk: ransomware response, zero trust architecture, incident response planning, cybersecurity roadmap, risk assessment frameworks
- Compliance: NIS2, DORA, ISO 27001 for SMEs, PCI DSS v4.0, NIST CSF, AI governance under the EU AI Act
- IT management: IT budget planning, IT service desk setup, Microsoft 365 security hardening, Microsoft 365 Copilot implementation
- Sector-specific: cybersecurity for healthcare, cybersecurity for hospitality, cyber insurance, machine identity management
Each guide is written by practitioners, reviewed against current regulation, and updated when the underlying rules change.
Built from real work
Everything in the Guides library started from real client questions. The ISO 27001 guide covers the decisions that come up in every implementation. The ransomware response guide covers the calls we have been on when clients are mid-incident. The IT budget guide reflects what we see when reviewing spend across a typical 100-person professional services firm.
That origin shows in the content. We do not write to cover a topic. We write to answer the questions that actually come up.
How to use the library
The Guides section lists everything with filters by topic. If you are in the middle of a compliance programme, start with the relevant framework guide. If you are evaluating a new service or tool, the IT management guides give you the context to ask the right questions.
If a topic you need is not covered, tell us. We write from demand.
